Brad Boucher is the founder and designer of HoM Furnishings, an Ashland, Oregon company creating handcrafted wooden meditation seating for daily life.
Brad has practiced meditation in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition and built custom furniture for more than 30 years. The first HoM meditation stool grew out of his own sitting challenges, bringing together his experience as a meditator, furniture maker, and product designer.
Today, Brad designs and prototypes HoM’s meditation chairs and companion pieces in Oregon, working with skilled woodworking partners in India to create durable solid-Acacia furniture made for comfort, longevity, and everyday practice.
